Quick Answer: What Aria Charges to Install a Dishwasher
Installing a dishwasher with Aria is from $129 per appliance when the existing compatible water supply, drain and power connections are in place. We confirm the price before the visit. The price can rise if the job needs new plumbing, a new circuit or cabinet changes, and we tell you before booking.
The final price depends on the dishwasher and on what's already under your sink. That's why we ask for the brand and model first. Once we know what you're installing, we can tell you the price before anyone comes out, so there are no surprises on the day.
What the Installation Price Includes
A standard install is more than sliding the new unit into the gap. Here's what's included when your existing connections are compatible:
| Included in the install | Not included (we tell you before booking) |
|---|---|
| Sliding the dishwasher into the opening | New plumbing or a new water line |
| Levelling it so the door closes and seals evenly | A new circuit |
| Securing it to the counter or cabinets | Cabinet changes to fit the opening |
| Connecting it to the existing water supply under the sink | |
| Connecting it to the existing drain under the sink | |
| Connecting it to the existing power under the sink | |
| A full test cycle to check for leaks | |
| A quick walkthrough of the controls |
For panel-ready models, we mount your cabinet panel too. Ask when you book if you'd also like the old dishwasher taken away, and we'll let you know if haul-away is available.
We see this every week. Recently, a Thornhill homeowner had us install a new dishwasher and take the old one away. Another job swapped out an old dishwasher and range hood in the same visit.

What Can Add to the Price
The "from" price covers a dishwasher going into a space that's already set up for one. A few things can change that, and we'll always tell you before booking:
- New plumbing. If there's no shut-off valve or water line for the dishwasher, or the drain isn't set up for one, the job needs more than a standard hookup.
- A new circuit. If there's no suitable power under the sink, the install needs more than a standard hookup.
- Cabinet changes. If the opening is the wrong size, or the old cabinet needs trimming or rebuilding, that's extra work.
- A panel-ready front. We mount your cabinet panel. Tell us it's panel-ready when you book so we can confirm the price.
- Taking the old one away. Ask when you book and we'll let you know if haul-away is available.
We don't list fixed prices for these extras because every kitchen is different. Send us the brand and model, tell us what's under the sink now, and we'll confirm the price before the visit.

Should You Replace It or Repair It First?
If your current dishwasher still runs but has a problem, like water left in the bottom or dishes coming out dirty, a repair may be the better first step. Our dishwasher repair visit starts with a diagnostic. Our diagnostic visit is $99 (regularly $129), and it's waived when we do the repair. Repairs come with our 1-Year Parts & Labour Warranty.
If the tech finds the repair isn't worth it, you'll know before you spend more, and you can plan the new install instead. For help weighing it up, read our guide on whether to repair or replace an appliance. If water won't drain, start with our post on a dishwasher not draining.
How to Prepare for Install Day
A little prep helps the install go smoothly:
- Measure the opening. Most built-in dishwashers are 24 inches wide. Check that your new one matches the space.
- Check the shut-off valve. Make sure the water valve under the sink turns. An old valve that won't turn is worth mentioning when you book.
- Look under the sink. Check that the drain and the outlet are in working order.
- Have the details ready. Tell us the brand and model, and whether it's panel-ready.
- Clear the space. Empty the sink cabinet so the hookups are easy to reach.
Why it matters: a dishwasher that isn't level can leak later. We level and secure every one and run a full test cycle before we leave.
