Diagnostic regularly $129, now $99, and always waived when Aria does the repair. You get the price before any work starts, and completed repairs include our 1-Year Parts & Labour Warranty. Refrigerators

Hisense Fridge Problems We Fix

We repair Hisense fridges, including French-door and counter-depth models, and we check the simple causes before the sealed system.

Fridge Not Cooling Enough
Likely cause
Dirty condenser coils, the evaporator fan, or frost on the coil from a defrost fault.
Try this first
Check the temperature setting, make sure food isn't blocking the vents and the doors close fully. Leave space at the back and sides so the fridge can breathe.
When to call Aria
If it's above 4 °C after a day, book a visit.
Freezer Frosting Up
Likely cause
A door that isn't sealing, or a defrost heater, sensor or control that has failed.
Try this first
Check the freezer drawer or door closes all the way and the seal isn't folded. Make sure nothing is stopping the drawer from closing.
When to call Aria
If frost keeps building on the back wall, book a visit. We fix the defrost cause, not just the ice.
Ice Maker or Water Dispenser Not Working
Likely cause
A frozen fill tube, a failed water inlet valve, or a water line that's closed or kinked behind the fridge.
Try this first
Check the ice maker is switched on, the water filter is seated and not overdue, and the supply valve behind the fridge is open. A new install can take a day to make ice.
When to call Aria
If ice or water still won't come, book a visit.
Water on the Floor or Inside the Fridge
Likely cause
A blocked defrost drain or a loose water line.
Try this first
Wipe it up, check the fridge is level, and look behind it for a dripping water line.
When to call Aria
If the water keeps coming back, book a visit.

Good to know

Keep the doors closed while you wait for us, and don't keep switching it off and on.

Most fridge repairs we do land around $120–$550, depending on the part. You get the exact price before any work starts.

Stove & Oven

Hisense Stove Problems We Fix

We repair Hisense electric stoves, including convection and air fry models.

Element Not Heating, or Only Half Heats
Likely cause
A failed element or its switch. On dual-size elements, one ring can fail while the other still works.
Try this first
Check you've selected the size you want on dual elements, then try the same pot on another element at the same setting.
When to call Aria
If one element or ring stays dark, book a visit. We test the element and switch first.
Oven Not Heating
Likely cause
A failed bake or broil element, the oven temperature sensor, or the control.
Try this first
Check the breaker, make sure a delay or timer isn't set, and try Broil to see if the top element heats.
When to call Aria
If Bake stays cold, book a visit.
Oven Temperature Off or Uneven
Likely cause
The temperature sensor, the convection fan, or a door seal that isn't closing well.
Try this first
Use the rack position the recipe calls for and don't cover racks with foil. Check the door seal isn't torn.
When to call Aria
If baking is still off by a lot, book a visit.
Display or Touch Controls Not Responding
Likely cause
A control lock, a power blip, or a failed touch panel or control board.
Try this first
Check the control lock isn't on, then turn the stove off at the breaker for one minute. Keep the glass panel clean and dry.
When to call Aria
If the controls still don't respond, book a visit.

Washers

Hisense Washer Problems We Fix

We repair Hisense 24-inch front-load washers, including stacked pairs in condo laundry closets.

Washer Not Draining (F03)
Likely cause
A clogged drain pump filter, a kinked drain hose, or a drain pump that has failed.
Try this first
Put towels and a shallow tray down, then open the small cover at the bottom front and clean the drain pump filter. Check the drain hose isn't kinked behind the washer.
When to call Aria
If F03 keeps coming back, the drain pump needs testing.
Washer Not Filling (F01)
Likely cause
Closed taps, low water pressure, kinked fill hoses, a clogged inlet hose filter, or a failed water inlet valve.
Try this first
Open both taps all the way and straighten the hoses. Check the washer door is closed firmly.
When to call Aria
If F01 shows with the taps fully open, book a visit.
Door Won't Lock or Unlock (F13 or F14)
Likely cause
Something caught in the door, a worn latch, or a failed door lock.
Try this first
Close the door firmly and check nothing is caught in the seal. Turn the washer off for one minute and try again.
When to call Aria
A worn door lock is a common repair. If the code returns, book a visit.
Shaking, Loud or Won't Spin (Unb)
Likely cause
An uneven or single heavy load, a washer that isn't level, or too much suds.
Try this first
Pause, spread the load out and restart. Use a small amount of HE detergent, and check all four feet sit firmly on the floor.
When to call Aria
If it still shakes or won't spin with an even load, book a visit to check the suspension and drum bearing.

Good to know

Stacked condo pairs: please clear a path to the closet, since we may need to pull the washer and dryer out.

Dryers

Hisense Dryer Problems We Fix

We repair Hisense 24-inch ventless heat-pump dryers, including stacked pairs in condo laundry closets.

Heat-Pump Dryer Leaves Clothes Damp
Likely cause
A full water box, a clogged lint filter or heat exchanger filter, or a load that's too big.
Try this first
Empty the water box and clean the lint filter every load. Clean any second filter your manual lists, and don't overload the drum.
When to call Aria
If clothes are still damp with clean filters, book a visit. Heat-pump dryers run cooler and longer than vented dryers, so some extra time is normal.
Dryer Stops Mid-Cycle (Water Box Icon)
Likely cause
The water box is full, which pauses the cycle, or the drain hose is kinked or raised too high.
Try this first
Empty the water box, slide it all the way back in and press Start/Pause. If you use the drain hose, keep it straight and no higher than 110 cm (43 in).
When to call Aria
If the icon stays on with an empty box, book a visit. The pump or water sensor needs testing.
Dryer Won't Start
Likely cause
The door isn't fully closed, the child lock is on, a tripped breaker, or a failed door switch or control board.
Try this first
Close the door firmly and press Start/Pause. If the lock icon is lit, hold Level and Temp. together for 3 seconds to turn the child lock off. Then check the breaker.
When to call Aria
If it still won't start, book a visit.
Dryer Loud or Rattling
Likely cause
Coins or buttons in the drum or lint filter, a dryer that isn't level, or worn drum rollers.
Try this first
Check the drum and the lint filter for coins and buttons, and make sure the dryer stands level. A soft hum from the heat pump and fan is normal.
When to call Aria
If it squeals, thumps or grinds, book a visit.

Good to know

Hisense recommends cleaning the heat exchanger about every 20 drying cycles, when the evaporator icon lights up.

Most dryer repairs we do land around $130–$320, depending on the part. You get the exact price before any work starts.

Dishwashers

Hisense Dishwasher Problems We Fix

We repair Hisense built-in dishwashers, including top-control models.

Dishwasher Won't Fill (E1)
Likely cause
A closed water supply valve, a kinked inlet hose, or a failed inlet valve.
Try this first
Check the supply valve under the sink is fully open and the hose isn't kinked. Close the door firmly until it clicks.
When to call Aria
If E1 comes back with the water on, book a visit.
Not Draining
Likely cause
A clogged filter, a kinked drain hose, a new disposal's knockout plug, or a drain pump that has failed.
Try this first
Twist out and rinse the filter in the bottom of the tub, check the drain hose under the sink and run the disposal before you start.
When to call Aria
If water still sits in the bottom, the drain pump needs testing.
Water Under the Dishwasher (E4)
Likely cause
A leak or overflow has reached the base, from too much suds, a loose hose or a worn gasket.
Try this first
Use only dishwasher detergent, never dish soap, and check the door closes evenly.
When to call Aria
Switch it off and book a check, since the source of the water needs finding.
Dishes Still Dirty
Likely cause
A dirty filter, blocked spray arms, or a weak wash pump.
Try this first
Clean the filter, check the spray arms spin freely and don't let tall items block them.
When to call Aria
If dishes still come out gritty with a clean filter, book a visit.

Microwaves

Hisense Over-the-Range Microwave Problems We Fix

We repair Hisense over-the-range microwaves, including the 1.7 cu. ft. HMVZ173SS, and their vent fans and LED cooktop lights.

Microwave Runs but Doesn't Heat
Likely cause
A failed high-voltage diode, capacitor, magnetron or door switch.
Try this first
Close the door firmly and heat a cup of water for one minute. If the light and turntable work but the water stays cold, stop using it.
When to call Aria
Microwaves hold a charge even when unplugged, so please don't open the cover. Book a visit.
Microwave Won't Start or the Display Is Dark
Likely cause
The door isn't fully latched, a tripped breaker, a blown internal fuse, or a door switch that has failed.
Try this first
Open and close the door firmly, or press Stop/Clear/Eco once, because Eco mode turns the display off. Then check the breaker.
When to call Aria
If it's still dead, a door switch is often the cause, and we test it before replacing anything.
Vent Fan or Cooktop Light Not Working
Likely cause
A failed fan motor, a failed LED cooktop light, or the control board.
Try this first
Press Vent once for high and twice for low, and press Light once to turn the cooktop light on. Clean the grease filters under the microwave.
When to call Aria
If the fan stays silent on both speeds or the light stays dark, book a visit.
Sparking Inside the Microwave
Likely cause
Metal or metal-trimmed dishes, food splatter on the walls, or a burned waveguide cover (the small panel inside the cavity).
Try this first
Stop it right away. Use microwave-safe dishes only, never run it empty, and wipe the inside with a damp cloth. Don't remove the waveguide cover.
When to call Aria
If it still sparks with a clean cavity and a safe dish, stop using it and book a visit.
Hand lifting a dish of butter that is still solid out of an open over-the-range microwave

Good to know

Microwaves can hold a charge after unplugging, so please don't open the housing yourself. We test them safely.

Most microwave repairs we do land around $100–$280, depending on the part. You get the exact price before any work starts.

Our 2 year old Electrolux washing machine started glitching and would stop and display several error codes during the drain cycle (full of water and wet clothes). I called Electrolux and their technician determined that the drain pump needed to be replaced, but it would have taken about a week for them to receive the part and come back to install it.

We decided to call Joe at Aria Appliance Repair after a friend recommended him. Joe came out, tested the pump, got the washer to drain and found that the pump was actually working. He spent more time testing the machine and eventually determined that the main control board was the problem. He came back the next day with the new board, installed it, and tested the washer twice to make sure everything was working properly.

I've since run several loads with no issues. We were really impressed with Joe's knowledge and troubleshooting. He was able to properly diagnose the problem when the manufactures technician had misdiagnosed it. Definitely recommend Joe and Aria Appliance Repair.

What does F03 mean on my Hisense washer?
On many models, F03 means the washer isn't draining. Turn it off, put towels and a shallow tray down, and clean the drain pump filter behind the small cover at the bottom front. Check the drain hose isn't kinked. If F03 keeps coming back, the drain pump needs testing.
What do F01, F13 and Unb mean on a Hisense washer?
On many models, F01 means water isn't coming in, so open both taps fully and check the hoses. F13 means the door won't lock, so close it firmly and check nothing is caught. Unb means the load is out of balance, so spread it out and restart. If a code keeps coming back, book a visit.
Why is my Hisense heat-pump dryer leaving clothes damp?
Usually the water box is full or a filter is clogged. Empty the water box, clean the lint filter every load and clean any second filter your manual lists. Heat-pump dryers run cooler and take longer than vented dryers, so some extra time is normal. If clothes stay damp with clean filters, book a visit.
Does a Hisense heat-pump dryer need a vent?
No. Hisense heat-pump dryers are ventless, which is why they suit condos. They collect water in a water box (some can drain to a hose instead) and use filters that need regular cleaning instead of a vent.
Why is my Hisense fridge not cooling?
Common causes are dirty condenser coils, a stalled evaporator fan, or frost from a defrost fault. Check the setting, make sure the vents aren't blocked and the doors close fully, and leave space around the fridge. If it's above 4 °C after a day, book a visit.
Why is my Hisense ice maker not working?
Often the water filter is overdue, the supply valve behind the fridge is closed, or the fill tube has frozen. Check the ice maker is switched on and the filter is seated. A new install can take a day to make ice. If ice still won't come, book a visit.
What do E1 and E4 mean on a Hisense dishwasher?
On many models, E1 means the dishwasher is taking too long to fill, so check the supply valve under the sink and the inlet hose. E4 means water has reached the base from an overflow or leak, so switch it off and book a check.
Why is one element on my Hisense stove not heating?
Usually the element or its switch has failed. On dual-size elements, one ring can fail while the other still heats. Check you've selected the right size, then try the same pot on another element. If it stays dark, we test the element and switch first.
Is it worth repairing a Hisense appliance?
Most Hisense repairs are a single part: a drain pump, a door lock, an element, a fan or an inlet valve, and those are usually worth fixing. A simple rule: if the repair costs less than about half of a comparable new appliance, repair it. The bigger calls are sealed-system fridge work or a heat-pump fault. We price it first, so you decide.
How much does Hisense repair cost?
Diagnostic regularly $129, now $99, and always waived when Aria does the repair. After testing, you get the exact repair price before any work starts. Installing a new Hisense appliance starts from $129. We accept cards, debit, cash, PayPal and Apple Pay, and completed repairs carry our 1-Year Parts & Labour Warranty.
Can you get parts for my Hisense appliance?
Our technician pins down the exact Hisense part and gives you the repair price before any work. If a part needs ordering, we tell you the timing up front and book a second visit that suits you. Keep your model number handy. On Hisense washers, it's usually on a label inside the door frame or on the back.
How do I book Hisense repair near me?
Book online by choosing your appliance, a day and an arrival window, or call 1-888-642-0352, Mon–Sun 8 AM–10 PM. We serve all of Vaughan, including Woodbridge, Maple, Kleinburg, Concord and Thornhill. If you're outside Vaughan, call to confirm your address. Write down any code on the display first, because it helps us plan the visit.
