Should You Repair or Replace Your Steam Unit or Sauna Heater?
Probes, valves, contactors and controls are practical repairs on a generator whose tank is sound, and a sauna element is usually cheaper than a new heater. A leaking tank, or parts that are no longer available, can make replacement the better call.
Age & Condition
A steam generator with a weeping tank, or a heater losing elements one after another, may not justify a major repair.
Type of Failure
Probe, valve, contactor and sauna element faults are often practical to repair. Steam elements and controls cost more.

Why does my steam shower or sauna take so long to heat up?
On a steam unit, scale on the heating elements is the usual cause, followed by a failing element or a fill problem. On a sauna, it’s usually a failed element, a sensor mounted in the wrong spot, or stones packed too tightly. We check each and explain the fix.

Why won’t my sauna heater turn on?
The control panel, a contactor, a high-limit that needs resetting or a tripped breaker are the usual causes. Check the panel’s timer and settings first. If the breaker has tripped more than once, don’t keep resetting it. Call us instead.
Why does my sauna shut off in the middle of a session?
Timer settings, a high-limit tripping early, or a sensor reading the room wrong can end a session early. Check the timer setting first, and if it still shuts off, book a visit so we can test the sensor and high-limit.
